Wednesday, January 11th, 2006 (Day 1)

Foz do Iguaca, Uruguay to Yguazu, Paraguay

(Thru Ciudad Del Este)
Morning- Cross the border into Paraguay at Ciudad Del Este. Drive 100km west to Yguazu.
Afternoon- Rest day in Yguazu. Prepare for Paraguay ride.


Thursday, January 12th, 2006 (Day 2)

Yguazu to Dr. J. E. Estigarribia (97km)
(Thru Dr. Juan L. Mallorquin and Jose D. Campos)
Morning/Afternoon- Ride from Yguazu to Dr. J. E. Estigarribia.
Evening- Invite the local community for a pick-up soccer game near the campsite, followed by an 'international dinner' made by the Odyssey team.


Friday, January 13th, 2006 (Day 3)

Dr. J. E. Estigarribia to Caaguazu (75km)
(Thru Dr. Juan Frutos)
Morning- Ride from Dr. J. E. Estigarribia to Dr. Juan Frutos.
Afternoon- Give a "Seeds of Chage" presentation at the Dr. Juan Frutos secondary school, followed by a traditional lunch with the students, teachers, and their families. After lunch, continue riding to Caaguazu.
Evening- Set up camp in Caaguazu and enjoy the evening.


Saturday, January 14th, 2006 (Day 4)

Rest Day in Caaguazu
Morning- Tour the town of Caaguazu with community leaders on tandem bikes. Learn about the soy farmer massacre on 6/24/05. Visit the local orphanage, give children rides on tandem bikes, have giveaways, etc.
Afternoon- Give a "Seeds of Change" presentation at the Caaguazu Community Center. Enjoy lunch with the community. Play frisbee and/or soccer with locals.
Evening- Invite the community to share dinner together at the Odyssey campsite.


Sunday, January 15th, 2006 (Day 5)

Caaguazu to Coronel Oviedo (80km)
Morning- Ride from Caaguazu to Coronel Oviedo.
Afternoon/Evening- Give a "Seeds of Change" presentation at the Coronel Oviedo High School. Presentation will include: A video and slide show, an interactive skit by the Odyssey team, tandem rides on the Odyssey bikes, games and giveaways from the One World Odyssey and our sponsors. Enjoy a traditional dinner with student, teachers and their families following the presentation.


Monday, January 16th, 2006 (Day 6)

Coronel Oviedo to San Jose (50km)
Morning- Breakfast with the local community at the Odyssey campsite.
Afternoon-
Ride from Coronel Oviedo to San Jose. Visit local children's disabled home in San Jose. Give children rides on the tandem bikes, have giveaways, etc.
Evening- Invite children, staff and their families from the disabled home to share dinner at the campsite with the Odyssey team.


Tuesday, January 17th, 2006 (Day 7)

San Jose to Eusebio Ayalia (47km)
(Thru Itacurubi)
Morning- Ride from San Jose to Itacurubi. Enjoy lunch in Itacurubi with the community. Give a "Seeds of Change" presentation at the Itacurubi elementary school. Presentation will include: A video and slide show, an interactive skit by the Odyssey team, tandem rides on the Odyssey bikes, games and giveaways from the One World Odyssey and our sponsors.
Afternoon- Continue riding to Eusebio Ayalia.
Evening- Invite community to share an 'international dinner' with the Odyssey team at the campsite.


Wednesday, January 18th, 2006 (Day 8)

Eusebio Ayalia to Caacupe (30km)
(Thru Eusebio Ayala)
Morning- Ride from Eusebio Ayalia to Caacupe. Invite locals to join us in this short ride.
Afternoon- Celebrate arrival in Caacupe with local non-profit partners and the community at the cobblestone plaza in front of the Basilica de Nuestra Senora de Los Milagros. Each year this plaza easily accommodates the up to 300,000 pilgrims who gather here on the Dia de la Virgen (Immaculate Conception).


Thursday, January 19th, 2006 (Day 9)

Caacupe to San Bernardio (35km)
Morning- Ride from Caacupe to San Bernardio. Invite the community of Caacupe to join us for this short ride.
Afternoon/Evening- Enjoy playing and relaxing in this beautiful lakeside town.


Friday, January 20th, 2006 (Day 10)

San Bernardio to Asuncion (47km)
(Thru Ypacarai, Itaugua, Capiata and San Lorenzo)
Morning- Ride from San Bernardio to Asuncion.
Afternoon/Evening- Celebrate arrival in Asuncion with the community and local non-profit partners at the Jardin Botanico, the cities largest open space and a popular site for weekend outtings. Event will include: Welcome and recognition of sponsoring organizations and guests, live music, dancing, and a picnic dinner in the park.


Saturday, January 21st, 2006 (Day 11)

Rest Day in Asuncion
Morning/Afternoon- Explore the city.
Evening- Fundraising event at the Mouse Cantina, a popular nightspot. Event will include: Welcome and recognition of sponsoring organizations and guests, a substantial check donation to our non-profit partners, dinner and drinks, live music and dancing, and a video and slide presentations. Enjoy the evening!


Sunday, January 22nd, 2006 (Day 12)

Asuncion to Villa Hayes (32km)
Morning/Afternoon- Meet at the Jardin Botanico and invite community to ride with the Odyssey team to Villa Hayes.
Evening- Set up camp in Villa Hayes and celebrate with an 'international dinner'.


Monday, January 23rd, 2006 (Day 13)

Villa Hayes to Benjamin Aceval (30km)
Morning- Enjoy breakfast with local community at the Odyssey campsite. Invite locals to join in the ride from Villa Hayes to Benjamin Aceval.
Afternoon/Evening- Give a "Seeds of Change" presentation at the Benjamin Aceval High School, followed by a traditional dinner with teachers, students, and their families.


Tuesday, January 24th, 2006 (Day 14)

Benjamin Aceval to Estancia Pilaga (100km)
(Thru Estancia Alina)
Morning/Afternoon- Ride from Benjamin Aceval to Estancia Pilaga.
Evening- Set up camp and relax by the Aguaray Guazo river. Invite community to share dinner at the campsite.


Wednesday, January 25th, 2006 (Day 15)

Estancia Pilaga to Monte Lindo (125km)
(Thru Ea. S. Antonio and Rio Negro)
Morning/Afternoon- Ride from Estancia Pilaga to Monte Lindo.
Evening- Set up camp by the Monte Lindo river. Invite the local community to join the Odyssey team for an 'international dinner'. Enjoy!


Thursday, January 26th, 2006 (Day 16)

Monte Lindo to Tte. Lo. Manuel Irala Fernandez (335km)
(Thru Ea. Victoria and Hotel Piraho, Pozo Colorado and Fn. Zalazar)
Morning/Afternoon- Drive from Monte Lindo to Tte. Lo. Manuel Irala Fernandez. Stop
at the Rio Verde (Green River) for a refreshing swim and a picnic lunch.
Evening- Event at the Tte. Lo. Manuel Irala Fernandez Community Center. Event will include: A video and slide show, an interactive skit by the Odyssey team, tandem rides on the Odyssey bikes, games and giveaways from the One World Odyssey and our sponsors.


Friday, January 27th, 2006 (Day 17)

Tte. Lo. Manuel Irala Fernandez to Filadelfia (165km)
Morning- Drive from Tte. Lo. Manuel Irala Fernandez to Cruce Filadelfia (125km).
Afternoon- Enjoy lunch in Cruce Filadelfiia. Invite local community to join in ride to Filadelfia (40km). Celebrate arrival in Filadelfiia on the Hauptstrasse (main street).
Evening- Fundraising event in Filadelfia with non-profit partners and the local community. Event will include: Welcome and recognition of sponsoring organizations and guests, a substantial check donation to our non-profit partners, dinner and drinks, live music and dancing, and a video and slide presentation. Enjoy the evening!


Saturday, January 28th, 2006 (Day 18)

Rest Day in Filadelfia
Morning/Afternoon- Tour Filadelfia with local community leaders on tandem bikes. Visit the local orphanage. Give children rides, have giveaways, etc.
Evening- Invite local community to share an 'international dinner' with the Odyssey team at the campsite.


Sunday, January 29th, 2006 (Day 19)

Fildelfia to Mariscal Estigarribia (100km)
(Thru Fn. Toledo, Fn. Tte. Rivarola, Fn. Tte. F. Delgado and Fn. Tte. Denis Roa)
Morning/Afternoon- Ride from Fildelfia to Mariscal Estigarribia. Invite local community to join in some of ride.
Evening- Relax at the campsite.


Monday, January 30th, 2006 (Day 20)

Mariscal Estigarribia, Paraguay to Camiri, Bolivia (415km)
(Thru Boyuibe)
Morning- Drive from Mariscal Estigarribia to Fortin General Eugenio A Garay (230km). Cross border at Fortin General Eugenio A Garay(Paraguay)/Fortin Villazon (Bolivia).
Afternoon- Continue driving from Fortin Villazon to Camiri (149 km)
Evening- Relax in Camiri the evening.
