Tuesday, April 4th, 2006
Rest Day in Balboa
Morning/Afternoon- Visit local orphanage. Take children for rides on tandem bicycles, have giveaways, etc.
Afternoon- Prepare for Panama Ride.
Evening- Fundraising Event in Balboa. Event will include: Welcome and recognition of sponsoring organizations and guests, a substantial check donation to our non-profit organizing partners, as well as dinner and drinks, live music, dancing, and a video and slide presentation.
Wednesday, April 5th, 2006
Balboa to Nueva Gorgona (77 km)
(Thru Arraijan, La Chorrerea, Capira, Aires Bejuco and Chame)
Morning- Ride from Balboa to Nueva Gorgona.
Afternoon- Give a “Seeds of Change” presentation at the Nueva Gorgona Elementary School. After lunch, invite children, teachers and their families to enjoy an afternoon event at the beach with the Odyssey team. Event will include: Tandem surf rides with the Odyssey team, a picnic lunch, a beach clean-up, etc.
Evening- Invite community for an ‘international dinner’ at the Odyssey campsite.

Nueva Gorgona to Penonome (72 km)
(Thru Las Hermanas, San Carlos, Las Uvas, Santa Clara, Rio Hato, Anton and Chorrerita)
Morning- Ride from Nueva Gorgona to Penonome.
Evening- Give a “Seeds of Change” presentation at the Penonome Community Center. After the presentation, enjoy a traditional dinner with the local community.
Friday, April 7th, 2006
Rest Day in Penonome
Morning- Check out the Balneario Las Mendozas, an excellent river pool for swimming and relaxing.
Afternoon- Take a guided tour of the town with locals on tandem bicycles.
Evening- Enjoy a pre-planned soccer game with locals, followed by an ‘international dinner’ at the Odyssey campsite.

Penonome to Santiago (80 km)
(Thru Cocle, Nata, Aguadulce, El Roble and La Mata)
Evening- Fundraising Event in Santiago with local non-profit partners. Event will include: Welcome and recognition of sponsoring organizations and guests, a substantial check donation to our non-profit organizing partners, as well as dinner and drinks, live music, dancing, and a video and slide presentation.

Rest Day in Santiago
Morning- Invite local non-profit partners to enjoy breakfast with the Odyssey team.
Afternoon- Visit local orphanage and home for the disabled. Share Odyssey adventure, give rides on the tandems, have giveaways, etc.
Evening- Explore the nightlife of Santiago.

Santiago to Sona (40km)
(Thru La Pena, El Llanillo, Las Penitas)
Morning- Rally riders to join us on the ride to Sona.
Afternoon- Give a “Seeds of Change” presentation at the Sona Community Center. After the presentation, enjoy a traditional dinner, with music and dancing with the local community.

Sona to Nata (40km)
(Thru El Maria, Zapotillo, Jorones, Pto. Vidal and Nata)
Morning- Ride from Sona to Nata.
Afternoon/Evening- Give a “Seeds of Change” presentation at the Nata Secondary School. After the presentation, enjoy a traditional dinner and evening event with students, teachers and their families.

Nata to Playa Las Lajas (40 km)
(Q. de Riedra, Guabala and Las Lajas)
Morning/Afternoon- Ride from Nata to Playa Las Lajas.
Evening- Invite local community to join the Odyssey team for an ‘international dinner’ and celebration on Playa Las Lajas.

Playa Las Lajas to Horconcitos (43 km)
(Thru Las Lajas, Juay, San Juan/ Cerillos and San Lorenzo)
Morning- Invite local community to join us on the short ride to Horconcitos.
Afternoon/Evening- Celebrate with an evening program at the Horconcitos Community Center. Enjoy an evening of dinner and dancing with the local community.

Horconcitos to David (44 km)
(Thru Chorchita, Chiriqui and Las Lomas)
Morning/Afternoon- Ride from Horconcitos to David. Pick up new riders for the Costa Rica ride.
Evening- Fundraising Event in David with local non-profit partners. Event will include: Welcome and recognition of sponsoring organizations and guests, a substantial check donation to our non-profit organizing partners, as well as dinner and drinks, live music, dancing, and a video and slide presentation.

Rest Day in David

David to Las Palmas (15km)
Morning- Rally riders to join us on the short ride from David to Las Palmas.
Afternoon– Set up camp near the waterfalls and swimming pools, just outside of town. Enjoy a relaxing day in this pleasant orange-growing village.
Monday, April 17th, 2006
Las Palmas to Costa Rica (48km)
(Thru San Pablo Viejo, Bagala, La Concepcion and Gariche)
Morning/Afternoon- Las Palmas to Paso Canoa. Cross border into Costa Ride.
Evening- Enjoy a quite evening in this small border town. Prepare for Costa Rica ride.
