La Cruz, Costa Rica to El Naranjo, Nicaragua
Morning- Ride from La Cruz, Costa Rica and cross border into Nicaragua. (19km) Continue riding to El Naranjo. (10km)
Afternoon- Prepare for Nicaragua ride.
Evening- Set up camp and enjoy this first night in Nicaragua.

Rest Day in El Naranjo
Morning/Afternoon- Prepare for Nicaragua ride
Evening- Give a “Seeds of Change” presentation at the El Naranjo Community Center. After dinner, enjoy a soccer game and a traditional dinner with the local community.
Friday, May 5th, 2006
El Naranjo to San Juan del Sur (23km)
(Thru El Ostional)
Morning- Rally local community to join us on this short ride to San Juan del Sur.
Afternoon- Surfing event with local surf club. Event will include: Tandem surf rides with the Odyssey team, surf lessons, a beach clean-up, sandcastle contest for children, live music and lunch.
Evening- Invite community to join us at the Odyssey campsite for an ‘international dinner’ and evening activities.
Saturday, May 6th, 2006 and Sunday, May 7th, 2006
Spend the weekend in San Juan del Sur.
Monday, May 8th, 2006
San Juan del Sur to Las Salinas (38km)
Morning- Invite residence at the San Juan del Sur home for the blind to join us on the ride to Las Salinas.
Afternoon- Celebrate arrival in Las Salinas with a small beach event. Event will include: Tandem surf rides for the blind and local community, a beach clean-up, sandcastle building contest, live music and a picnic lunch. Enjoy the afternoon!
Evening- Invite the local community to join us for dinner and an evening program at the Odyssey campsite.
Tuesday, May 9th, 2006
Las Salinas to Montelimar (58km)
(Thru Veracruz, Huehuete, Casares, La Boquita, La Trinidad, Pochomil and Masachapa)
Morning/Afternoon- Ride from Las Salinas to Pochomil. Enjoy a surf and picnic lunch on the beach. Rally riders and continue riding to Montelimar.
Evening- Explore the nightlife in Montelimar.
Wednesday, May 10th, 2006
Rest Day in Montelimar
Morning- Give “Seeds of Change” presentation at the Montelimar Secondary School. Give rides on the tandem bicycles, let students explore the Mobile Base Camp, have giveaways, etc. Enjoy lunch with the students and teachers.
Afternoon/Evening- Surfing event with local non-profit partners. Event will include: Surfing lessons, rides on the tandem surfboards and tandem kayaks with the Odyssey team, volleyball and soccer games, a sunset dinner, live music and dancing. Enjoy the evening!

Montelimar to Puerto Sandino (69km)
(Thru San Luis, Villa Carlos Fronseca A. and Santa Rita)
Morning- Ride from Montelimar to Puerto Sandino
Afternoon- Visit local orphanage and home for the disabled. Share Odyssey adventure, give rides on tandem bicycles, have giveaways, etc.
Evening- Invite local community to join us for an ‘international dinner’ and evening program at the Odyssey campsite.
Friday, May 12th, 2006
Puerto Sandino to Leon (40km)
(Thru Salinas Grande, Candelaria and El Trapicnite)
Morning- Ride from Puerto Sandino to Leon
Afternoon- Give a “Seeds of Change” presentation at the Leon Elementary School. Give rides on the tandem bicycles, allow children to explore the Mobile Base Camp, have giveaways, etc.
Evening- Fundraising event with local non-profit partners. Event will include: Welcome and recognition of sponsoring organizations and guests, a substantial check donation to our non-profit partners, dinner and drinks, live music and dancing, and a video and slide presentations. Enjoy the evening!

Leon to Las Pentias (20km)
(Thru Poneloya)
Morning- Rally local community to join us on the short ride to Las Pentias.
Afternoon- Enjoy an afternoon event on the beach with local community. Event will include: Tandem surf and kayak rides with the Odyssey team, surf lessons with local surf club, sandcastle building contest for children, volleyball and soccer games, live music and a picnic lunch. Enjoy the afternoon!
Evening- Invite locals to enjoy dinner and an evening program at the Odyssey campsite.

Las Pentias to Chinandega (35km)
(Thru El Polvon, Ing. San Antonio and Chichigalpa)
Morning- Ride from Las Pentias to Leon. Say goodbye to new friends and continue riding to Chinandega.
Afternoon- Relax in Chinandega

Chinandega to Choluteca, Hondaurus (115km)
(Thru Rancherias, San Jose, Villa Salvadorita, Somotillo and Guasaute)
Morning/Afternoon- Drive from Chinandega to the border of Hondaurus. (75km) Continue driving north-west to Choluteca. (40km)
Evening- Set up camp and enjoy this first night in Hondaurus.
