Help us get the word out to potential
participants and supporters of the project! Here's a few ideas
for you:
1. The Magic Link: This link here you can
send with a nice personal letter to everyone and anyone inviting
them to discover the One World Odyssey. Just copy and paste
this link: http://www.go1world.org/what.asp
2. Potential Riders: We're not just looking
for cyclists or athletes. There are many sections of the route
that are easy and open to beginner riders. We're looking for
soulful, genuine, caring people who enjoy some adventure,
travel, sports and/or making a positive difference in the
world. And we want to have at least one form EVERY COUNTRY
in the world. That's our goal. Whether they are a famous athlete
or musician, a surf nut in New Zealand, or just a nice gal
you know in Belgium--let them know about this special event.
3. Donors: We don't like asking for money,
but we don't mind doing it as we feel strongly that this project
merits the support of the global community. If you feel the
same way, then think about some people you know who may be
able to help finance this project. Again, send them the link
or our home page.
4. Sponsors: We're competing against thousands
of people asking corporations for money, so a personal contact
to a decision maker is greatly appreciated to speed up the
inevitable support of corporations around the world.
5. Non-Profit Partners: We're hoping to connect
and collaborate not only non-profits in the countries we are
traveling through but other organizations that can help us
with our Seeds of Change program by sharing project plans
and offering support to communities that need expertise in
launching projects.
6. Media: This is a very newsworthy and entertaining
project. But we need help to get our story to the networks,
newspaper and magazine editors, internet sites and more. Who
do you know?
7. Volunteers or Advisors: We're always looking
for people who can help us out in any way. Let any volunteering
fanatics know that we need them. And any super sharp people
that could be advisors, let them in on this too!
