Rest Day in San Salvador

Evening fundraising event with local non-profit partners. Event will include: Event will include: Welcome and recognition of sponsoring organizations and guests, a substantial check donation to our non-profit partners, dinner and drinks, live music and dancing, and video and slide presentations. Enjoy the evening!

San Salvador to La Libertad (23km)

Invite local community and blind riders to join us on the ride to La Libertad. Share afternoon together on the beach.

Afternoon surf event with local non-profit partners.


Friday, June 9th, 2006

La Libertad to Playa Mizata (25km)

Give a "Seeds of Change" presentation at the Playa Mizata Community Center. Presentation will include: A video and slide show, an interactive skit by the Odyssey team, tandem rides on the Odyssey bikes, games, and giveaways from the One World Odyssey and our sponsors. Enjoy a traditional dinner and dancing following the presentation.


Saturday, June 10th, 2006

Playa Mizata to Los Cobanos (25km)

Invite local community and blind riders to join us on the ride to Los Cobanos. Visit children in the local orphanage. Take them for rides on the tandem bikes, have giveaways, etc. Invite children and local community to enjoy an afternoon event at the beach. Event will include: Tandem surf and kayak rides, surfing lessons, soccer, music and a picnic lunch.


Sunday, June 11th, 2006

Rest Day in Los Cobanos

Afternoon surf event with local surf school. Event will include: Surf lessons, tandem surf and kayak rides with the Odyssey team, a beach clean-up, food and live music. Enjoy the afternoon!


Monday, June 12th, 2006

Los Cobanos to Acajutia (15km)

Enjoy a pre-planned soccer game with local community, followed by an ‘international dinner’ prepared by the Odyssey team.


Tuesday, June 13th, 2006

Rest Day in Acajutia

Visit residence in the home for the disabled. Share Odyssey adventure, give rides on the tandems, etc. Invite residence to enjoy an afternoon event on the beach with the Odyssey team. Event will include: Tandem surf and kayak rides with the Odyssey team, a beach-clean up, live music and a picnic lunch. Enjoy the afternoon!

Acajutia to Barra de Santiago (25km)
