Fortin Villazon to Camiri (149 km)

Wednesday, Feb. 1st, 2006 (Day 3)
Rest day in Camiri.
Camiri, a city known for its production of Petroleum and natural gas, is also the southern anchor for the Che Trail (815 km), a community based tourism project mapping out Che's final movements on foot, mule, bicycle and boat. Along the way are basic accomodations at encampments and also with local families.

Monteagudo to Padilla (67 km)

Saturday, Feb. 4th, 2006 (Day 6)
Padilla to Sucre (102 km)
(Thru Tarabuco)

Sunday, Feb. 5th, 2006 (Day 7)
Rest day in Sucre.
Sucre is often referred to as Bolivia's most beautiful city. Sucre was declared a Unesco cultural heritage in 1991 because of its beautiful colonial architecture, as well as many of its original buildings still intact.
Afternoon: School visit and invitation to join One World Odyssey in an evening of music, games and getting to know one another.

Sucre to Betanzos (61 km)

Tuesday, Feb. 7th, 2006 (Day 9)
Betanzos to Potosi (30 km)
(Thru Don Diego)
Morning: Easy bike through Don Diego with an afternoon at the hot springs.
Evening: Dinner and small event with locals.

Wednesday, Feb. 8th, 2006 and Thursday, Feb. 9th, 2006 (Days 10 and 11)
Potosi to Uyuni (150 km)
(Thru Pulacayo)

Friday, Feb. 10th 2006 (Day 12)
Drive from Uyuni to Avaroa (150 km)
(Thru Comunidad Amor and Chiguana)

Saturday, Feb. 11th, 2006 (Day 13)
exit Avaroa (Bolivia)/Ollague (Chile) drive 85km to San Pedro for the evening and overnight stay.
